Jon, thanks for the feedback. Before I posted my article to
comp.sys.mac.apps, I did a Google search of all NGs using the string
"iTunes can't burn music CDs" and got the most hits on
comp.sys.mac.apps. I will try other NGs.

This is a Macintosh application software discussion group (as opposed to
"Apple software in general", including for other OS'es). Most people
coming here will have little or no idea how to deal with what sounds
like an iTunes-and-XP specific problem.
You might be better off getting help in a Windows-specific newsgroup,
e.g., microsoft.public.windowsxp.music (I have no idea whether that is
an active group, unfortunately).
