MSN Music and ME

I have a 98SE system authorized for my account at MSN Music. It runs all
the Music Assistant and Troubleshooter Active-X controls just fine even
though the system requirements say XP SP2 is required. Maybe XP SP2 is
required only for music purchasing.

My XP SP2 system is also authorized to use my account at MSN Music but
that's to be expected.

I can't get MSN Music authorized on my ME system at all. Troubleshooter and
Assistant won't install. That would make sense considering "XP SP2 is
required" except that the 98SE system got past that. I've set all the
internet options to defaults, allowing cookies and Active-X. What would be
the secret of using MSN Music on an ME system? I've bought music on the ME
system, but I used Liquid.com which went out of business and all my
purchased tracks stopped playing.
