Re: Getting Crescendo to Play in Netscape 7

I apologize for starting a new thread, but I was in the process of getting
help and the replies stopped coming.

I have Crescendo Player downloaded and installed and I want it to play in
Netscape,
but it won't.

I know it works because I have tested it and I know it is installed to the
right file path or directory or whatever you call it. In any case it is
listed as a Netscape Plug-in.

I have Windows Media Player embedded in IE and it will play the midi on my
website.

But when I go to Netscape the midi won't play even though I have Crescendo
listed as a plug-in.

I have a space on my website for the midi. When I click on that it tells me I
need a plug-in to play the midi and suggests that I download Quicktime. Well,
I already have Quicktime installed as a plug-in in IE.

If I install Quicktime in Netscape will that conflict with the Quicktime in
IE?

Otherwise, why won't Crescendo play in Netscape even though it is listed as a
plug-in?

Can anyone help me resolve this?

This is the best advice you are going to get [quoted below from Jay's site]. Those people have been using NS and Crescendo for years. People that visit this MS group primarily use IE and WMP... and since Crescendo is no longer supported, the newsgroup below remains your best bet.
