Back/Restore of MSN Store Music

My brother-in-law has purchased hundreds of songs from MSN Music at $.99
each. They have all been converted to MP3s but the WMA files are backup. If
we completely reinitialize his computer what is the procedure to backup and
restore the MSN music? I'm not sure if the licences are built in or there is
a separate file to also backup and restore.
