cheers for answering, i haven't got any other open progams, i did reinstall
the driver from the realtek web site that didn't work i also re downloaded
direct x i tried the trouble shooter but thst told me to alter bios and i
haven't got a clue how to do that- i can't find any cd that came with the
computer for audio or sound device it was prefitted. i had a look in devices
but it only had default device listed and that isn't working if i go through
control panel it says no sound device but realtek is listed in device manager
and says that it is working properly, is real tek the sound device? im v
confused
