Checking a file is used for working with the tags. Highlighting a file is used
when you want to work with the file, i.e. delete, etc.
I find it's best to use the "select all files" in the "file list" tab of the
program options. T&R also has toolbar buttons to select all, select none,
invert selection, select highlighted files and unselect highlighted files. These
can come in quite handy when working with mixed files in a single folder.
