It is a known problem in XP. SP1 or maybe SP2 would solve the problem. But,
empty your CD-Rom and reboot your PC. Now you should be able to burn. If you
try to burn on a used CD-R it will not work, for the disk may be finalized.
Try a
blank/new disk. For music use CD-Rs, for graphics/photos/documents use
CD-RWs.
CD-RWs can be formatted and used as a second harddrive.
