Read about the various filesharing networks and clients here:
http://www.slyck.com
Don't use the official Kazaa client by the way- it contains adware. Many
clients which include bundled adware also have "lite" alternative
versions- seek them out. Once connected to the network of your choice
through the client of your choice, whether it be a Kazaa Lite variant or
not, you must scan each of your downloads before executing them, just to
be on the safe side. You just need to be cautious, that's all!
That said, I continue to have considerable success finding what I am
looking for (mostly music) on the FastTrack Network via KazaaLite, and
have never been infected by a virus.
Regards,
Ian.
