Nero doesn't like co-existing with other burning programmes. Make sure the
CD burning service in XP is turned off :
Right click on My Computer > Manage > Services & Applications > Services >
Disable IMAPI CD Burning ROM service.
Uninstall Nero, re-boot.
Re-install Nero and enable it for all users. Re-post if still problematic.
