Hi,

The warning will be about unsigned drivers. The chances are they will not
damage your pc, but I doubt they will help you in anyway either.
What is the make and model of your cam?
How are you connecting it to the pc?
The only type of cam for capturing from supported by MM is a minidv cam
conneced by firewire.
Other types, dvd, hard drive and sd card types record in various formats,
like mpeg2 or avchd and these are not supported formats in MM, which is why
they won't import.
You cna use explorer to move them from cam to pc, then you convert the file
to a wmv video file adn edit this in MM.

I went to the Sony site to download drivers for camera. I get this message
that if I continue to let the drivers install I will harm my computer,
something about Windows logo. I need the drivers to get the video off of
the
camera. Movie Maker will not import.
