It's because MM doesn't like mpeg files, your choices are to convert it to
wmv and edit in MM,

or buy an app that will work with mpegs, such as adobe premiere elements or
Ulead video studio.

When I import a video clip from Sony DCR-SR33E camcorder in mpeg format,
it
is upsidedown in collections pane but it is correct in player and plays ok
in
viewer, but when I drag clip to storyboard they are both upside down
.
