at first I thought the file was too big; so I created a new project about
half the size, as in creating a part 1 and 2. Still can not create a DVD.

I'm having the same problem and if my memory serves me right, I don't think
you can't burn a dvd within XP movie maker, (only CD's) ............. I
think you need Vista.
Can someone please confirm.
