Movie plays perfectly in timeline, loses one audio track when I save it

First attempt with WMM.

I have the movie just like I want it during the edit phase. I have a
song that plays at the beginning, and one at the end.

Odd thing is, if you play the song clip directly, the audio starts
immediately. But when I import it, WMM adds a bit of time at the
beginning of the song.

So I can live with that....the problem is, after I got the movie like
I wanted it, and saved it, I played it back.

And the first song was gone. Everything else was just like it was
when I previewed it in WMM.

I've saved it several times, tried deleting and re-importing the first
song, but every time it's gone in the final movie file.

I searched and found plenty of audio issues, but not this one.
