Use another programme, just google .dat to wmv or mpeg and you'll get lots.

I want to covert video file with .dat extn into .mpeg or .wmv extn using
Windows Movie Maker. But Windows Movie Maker doesn't support import of
.dat
extn files. How can I do that???? Please help
