MM is designed to work with wmv and dv-avi files, so start by telling us teh
file types you are trying.

Installing codecs without knowing if theya re the right ones is not a good
idea, so I'd stop that now, as it can cause more trouble for you.

Movie Maker used to work fine, but now it won't let me upload anything.
Everytime I try, it says it don't have the nessicary codecs. since it has
started staying that i've downloaded about a million codecs to try and get
it
to work, but nothing works. I've also tried about every video file
extention
out there and they all do the same thing. Any help would be greatly
appriciated.
