I've been making a slide shows of pics, and it seems the more I add==========================
to movie maker, the slower the program gets- now I'm at the point
where any addition, be it a transition, effect or even changing from
timeline to storyboard, causes delays- anywhere from 1 to 4 minutes-
and - more often- a whole freeze of the program, forcing me to shut
down- ctrl, alt delete doesn't even work sometimes. I've tried the
compatability area of tools,options- and went through them all to see
if it makes a difference. The only thing that did was to eliminate
all filters- when I do that I can make changes- transitions, music,
effects etc, but can't view the end result of these changes until I
restore all filters. I'm running mm 2.1, the filters I have showing
are qedit.dll quartz.dll qdvd.dll qasf.dll mm2filt.dll and
codecx.ax. The project is about 25 minutes long. PLEASE- any
suggestions would be welcome- my hope of a christmas present for mom
is fading fast!!!!
Much thanks,
Rosa
This sounds like a resource issue.
Maybe you could make two or more
smaller projects and after you save
them as a movie you could reimport
them and join them.
