Hi PD,

Thank you for replying. Not sure what you mean by corrupted project file
and copying work to new file. All i have saved is the timeline a .pds
file.

You're saving as a project, which authoring/burning software
cannot use. Open your project and save as an mpeg2, then
burn that to DVD.
You're using PowerDVD editing software, whereas this is
Windows Movie Maker newsgroup.

Try these links:
Cyberlink Power Director, Rummage around:
http://www.cyberlink.com/english/products/powerdirector/5/create_disc.jsp

This is an excellent site, try the forums for tutorials:

Please could you explain.

Thanks very much,

Simon

(Below is our original conversation)

Hi,
I am actually using cyberlink power director 5 editing software and cannot
burn my movie to dvd. I have currently made a number of home movies
approx 1
hour in duration with multiple transitions and titles. This movie file is
no
different however whenver i attempt to burn it to a dvd it appears to stop
burning at 11% every time. No error message apperas, just wont go any
further. Any ideas.

Thank you in anticipation

Sounds like you have a corrupted project file. i would start a new file
and
copy your work to that file, then try to burn.
