Please note that the custom profiles need to be saved in:
C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\Shared\Profiles

and not in the addontfx\shared folder as you mentioned.

blah blah blah.... Now the problem

I have made some custom PRX files and saved them in the Profiles folder
under Movie Maker\Shared. During the save movie operation (Save Movie
Wizard), the custom profiles are not listed in the combo box for possible
profiles. Does anyone know what causes this behavior. I have followed
the
instructions explicitly for creating custom profiles on Microsoft's
website.
