Re: Movie Maker and Sonic DigitalMedia Conflict

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

If Sonic is opening I have to assume you have a Media Center PC and are
clicking "Save to DVD" when you do this Sonic is SUPPOSED to open because
that is the software used to create and burn the DVD.
What is the end result that you want?
A CD that plays on the computer?
A CD that plays in your DVD player?
A DVD that plays in your DVD player?
Or a DVD that plays only on the computer?

I have tried 2 times to record a video using the Windows Movie Maker and
the
program seems to stop recording anything or locks up. When Movie Maker
starts it also tries to to start another Sonic program at the same time.
I
Cancel the Sonic program and continue with the Movie Maker. Everythinmg
seems to be going fine but when it goes to record write to the disk the
video stops or records some of it and then locks up. Recording Data seems
to
work Ok. Playing a video from the
DISK Drive works ok. Also when I start any of the Sonic programs by it
self
it tries to start from a disk I do not have and I have to cancell it twice
for the program to start. All other programs are working OK.

Sonice program seems to be the only proglem having a conflict with Windows
