Hi Doug,
Could be either one although but burning SLOWER shouldn't cause the problem,
burning FASTER easily could.
Some DVD Burners don't work with all DVD formats. My old one, for instance,
would only burn to -R and -RW disks but didn't work with +R and +RW. New
burners work with both but some older burners don't.

I tried to burn a DVD and got a failure.
I used a Maxell DVD+RW "Up to 4X, 4.7GB 2 hrs."
I tried again using Maxell DVD-R "Up to 8X, 4.7GB 2 hrs."
This was successful.
I this because of the "4X" vs "8X?" or did it have something to do with
the +RW vs -R?
I asked Nero but it takes a week or two for them to answer....
Thanks, Doug
.
