It's probably down to system resources, in that your pc couldn't cope with
the volume of work it was being asked to do.
At least you are now editing :)

I think I found the problem.
I tried to drag a lot of little clips and I think it lost it's mind.
When I drug a few at a time and then saved the project it worked ok.
Maybe there's another reason but that worked.....

What file types are you dragging in? things like mpeg/jpeg/mp3 can cause
problems

I'm importing collections and as I drag them to the timeline after
awhile the window disappears and I have to open it and get back in.
I've tried to save it after dragging each clip but I can't save it fast
enough - even when I drag one at a time.
Help!!
