Re: can' play PapaJohn Site saves as .prx extension

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

online files are low quality in comparison to computer-based playing so it's
hard to point you to anything that would show it....

the best would be to use the profile to render one of your projects.

Thanks PapaJohn, I was wanting to see an example of a slide show using
stills
on MM. I have some still screen prints of an Excel *** and the picture
when
imported nto MM is quite blury so I thought I should see what MM can do
and
then work out what I am doing wrong with my novice attempt.

the PRX file isn't a slide show, which is why you can't play it.

it's a small text file with settings in it telling Movie Maker what to
use
when making a movie from a project...

SlideShow-800x600-WMV9.prx . What is prx.
I have XP with WMM.

How can I watch this tutorial?

I waould like to play the clip SlideShow-800x600-WMV9 that is listed on
papajuons site under the saving movies section BUT it saves the sample
clip
as a .prx and even though I have saved it to the WMM profiles folder it
will
not play.
I have WMM 1 v 5.1 on XP with SP2

So under this site it sates:
"Custom Profile Library

As I develop or get copies of custom profiles that work particularly
well,
I'll provide them for download. Place them in your c:\Program
Files\Movie
Maker\Shared\Profiles folder. Restart Movie Maker 2 so you'll see them
in
the
list of choices when saving your movie.

I'll start with two made for presentations at a Toronto-area
photography
club, essentially slide-shows. They considered the first one of
sufficient
quality and settled on using it:
SlideShow-800x600-WMV9 "

It is not playing - is it because I do not have WMM 2?
