It is available on the MCE machines but I do agree that it should be
available for simply being able to save to a DVD in all versions of WMM and
it probably will be in the next version I would guess.

That's because when you "split" a clip in WMM the original file isn't split
at all. You are only splitting within the program to make it possible to use
only part of a clip. The size doesn't change because the original clip on
your hard drive doesn't change.

But have you tried the Credits: Video Left Title animation? I think that is
exactly what you are talking about.
