You won't like the results for a couple reasons.
One reason is that you can't capture to DV-AVI and another is that when
trying to capture through USB with Movie Maker you often end up with poor
video quality and especially audio quality if you get audio at all. Your
digital camera should have come with a DV port (firewire, IEEE, DV all the
same thing) and it is most definitely best to use that when capturing to
Movie Maker. The cable is very inexpensive.
