Re: total lock up at first touch

I did everything both of you two suggested. Even went so far as to Zero out
my hard drives and did clean installs of windows and the drivers for my sound
card
(creative soundblaster) and the drivers for my grahics card(ATI Radeon 9250)
no other programs. I did transfer some pictures from a cd to My Pictures
folder
Still no joy! not even the Example vidoe will play! It freezes up WMP10. you
can hear the audio. but no video. and can not shut down Media player 10, it
crashs.
am ata total loss!
