no sound after burning dvd

I just started using this program and i have saved my movie with sound to my
computer using the dv-avi option. When i used the click to dvd program that i
have there is no sound. what i did was pulled the video from my saved videos
and imported it to the click to dvd program burned the dvd but no sound was
on it. i am really excited about using this program. the movie looks great
but i would
love to be able to burn it and give it to my friend that the movie is about
(race car driving). I am really fustrated staying up all hours of the night
tryin to figure this out. Can somebody please help
