Hahaha. Now you are contradicting your own cause.... The "masses" would include the nanny herself. The first thing she would do ehn she arrives at your house, is pull the plug or just move the camera away. In some cases the child molester can be real clever and she can easily obtain access to the captured file and edit it to replace the bad scenes with good ones. On the other hand a parent who develops some grudge against an honest child minder can easily frame her by cooking evidence against her on his PC (after all this is a video editing package).

All these are just some of the scenarios to be taken account of when designing a nanny cam. WMM is not a nannycam application.

Your sole argument is that it has a special feature of time limited capture of 1 to 23 hours. Lets suppose you set the limit to be 2 hours, what happens to the child abuse that occurs after the 2 hours limit?

Furthermore I dont see this to be such a useful feature anyway. Why can't the parents let WMM record everything without timelimit and switch the capture off only when they arrive back. This would atleast ensure that the full session was recorded.

I am sorry you have received not a single positive response to your grand scheme of protecting the helpless children of poverty strucken parents. Pity. Either all of us are bent on child molesting or perhaps it may be so that the scheme itself has the flaws we keep pointing out. Take your pick. (Though we know which one you will be picking).
