Thank you KDE for your thoughtful response. WMM2 already IS an excellent
Nannycam with "Capture time limit" of 1-23 hours. It's already installed on
everyone's computer so there is no need for concerned parents to learn media
encoding, pay $50 for commercial software, or waste time searching for the
"free" software that does not exist in reality.
No, It appears that some elite WMM2 artists might want to keep it just for
making Little Angel's birthday party movie into a Hollywood Masterpiece and
restrict any possibility of a concerned parent using it to catch the
babysitter tossing Little Angel around like a ragdoll for crying while mommy
is at work.
Microsoft should tweak WMM2 so that their "Capture time limit" 1-23 hours
can work behind a screensaver, deploy this tweak via the next Windows Update,
and then widely advertise this free Nannycam to the masses.
