There are Plenty of players that play AVI and Divx/Xvid on disk but here is
one that plays it with out the disk.

Also here is some article about DVD players and WMV-HD format.
This aussie brand says it has a dvd player that plays wmv. It will be out
for christmas $429(AUS).
