Re: MovieMaker Security Suite 2005 Case #: SRX050223602463
Hello,
Review of DVD Players with .wmv:
While reviewing MovieMaker. I was impressed by the performance Microsoft has
expanded upon. The performance viewed pictures better than Pinnacle Studios.
The format of .wmv is not widely used in dvd players. So upon using the .wmv
on dvd the player does not read the format. So im still looking for a dvd
player that plays .wmv's. (Windows Media Video) I did notice however the dvd
players are .wma which is (Windows Media Audio.)
Review of MovieMaker Security,
Upon using MovieMaker. I was thrilled by easy to use controls MovieMaker
has. So it is a nice tool for anyone to use on the market of Picture Making.
SlideShow making of one pictures has never been better. I was so impressed by
the proformance i wanted to start using the tool as a business professional.
So i got pretty good at using this tool with other applications to the
program. I did not see any securtiy features on MovieMaker, So I contacted
Microsoft to see if the feature existed. According to Microsoft telephone
Support the feature of the security did not exist. So explaned to him that i
needed a security on .wmv's. I needed the .wmv's to be recorded by the end
user only once. Thus making the creator the exculsive rights to the creators
works. Telephonte Support replied with a non-existant answer to the feature
of securing ones works. Support also states MovieMaker is a Homebased
program. Thus making people who use this program at home to promote their
works not intended for public useage. So the download can be recorded for
eternity. There is Shareware what does make programs expire. They are useally
samples of games that can be bought and they expire after a certain amount of
times. So programming MovieMaker to have a security system would be a fairly
easy task and probably would not take up much space on Windows XP Program. I
hope Microsoft reviews this case and thinks their should be a security
feature system in recording with its program. If MovieMaker could put a count
of numbers on the output of it's recordings. Thus making the recording of
MovieMaker a more secure system for the business world and public useage.
Making Microsoft's Window's XP Pro the best in the world. You'r answer is
someone's dream. Expand your horizon's.
Wishing you truely the best in 2005.
Sincerely,
Ben

MovieMaker Questions Asked:
Please enter your comments here.
Hello,
I have been using Windows Movie Maker. I need to aska question applying to
my projects. I hope your organization can help answer.
The question is: I am recording for an output audienceI need to make the
icon of Windows Movie Maker what comes out as a .wmv. into a one-time only
recording after i produce it an give to my associates. That is i would like
to give Windows MovieMaker a Sercurity Setting that would only allow the
download of the movie of one time only after it is givin to someone.
Thiswould protect my rights and windows rights more fully to my audience. I
hope the Security Setting is already in place and ready to use. Thanks for
your cooperation and patience.
Sincerely,
Ben
