Re adjusting audio - there is a simple, but tedious solution
Select the sound track and cut it at the point you want the volume to
change. Then you can change the volume down. By selecting multiple
points at even time periods you can then gradually reduce the volume
of the track until it fades out (I used the text on the volume box as
an approximate guide and used 1-2 second intervals) - it isnt perfect
but usning many cuts and a gradual reduction people dont seem to pick
up that the volume is dropping stepwise.

Re the volume between the video track and narration track I split the
video, or audio at the point I want the volume to change, and the
point at which I want it to return to normal. I then have a chunk of
track that I can adjust the volume of the section up or down according
to your requirements. If you want fade here you can also achieve it
using the method previously described.

I know this is tedious but it works.
