Papajohn, Responsibility and LIES !!!

        It has been brought to my attention that papajohn has been spreading lies in a
        discussion group about me that I am not a member of.

Hi again Weave,
just a followup note so you and others know enough about the situation when you
take JK up on his free hosting offer.
It's not a new issue.... goes back a long time. No-one has a grudge against or
is spatting with him.... he just chooses to blacklist some of us for whatever
his personal reasons are.
His offer is great and might suit your needs and others... but be aware that I
and others in this situation would like to view your videos but can't. If you
get fewer comments when posting them there, you'll know why.

        To set the record straight. Because of his past actions and those of a small
        group of MVP's (I often refer to them as his bully boys) He and those bully
        boys are permanently banned from accessing my web site. Out of Decembers 1,327
        UNIQUE visitors only 6 individuals were banned, others were however added to
        the banned list during the month...this because it is probably someone like
        papajohn (I genuinly do not think he is clever enough to do it though) who have
        been using spoof IP address's. There were a lot of the in December

        The original reason paojon was banned was because I simply did not want him in
        my site this was because of his basic attitude to someone who would not respond
        the way HE wanted when he sent out one of his "back chanel" private emails, but
        more recently that position has been reinforced because it is clear he has no
        regard for those he helps....this came to stark notice when one of his users
        took advice from his website and ended up in trouble. Papajohn was placed in a
        position where he had to admit no knowledge on the procedure involved and
        declined to help that person any further....The truth now seems to be that he
        uses his title of MVP to re-enforce a huge misconception that he is an Expert
        with regard to the use of a computer. Although there have been many occasions
        in the last year where it has been adequately demonstrated that his knowledge
        was largely lacking, none have been so stark as these recent events. He uses
        his position and web site to encourage ordinary users to purchase one of his
        books. He refers to his website as being a "personal" site, when it is clearly
        commercial. I don't know whether that description and the laws of the USA have
        any baring on this or not. It will be interesting to find out I must say....tax
        laws...decleration of income sources etc etc....

        Papajohns web site contains a huge amount of information that suggests a "fix"
        for some problem...remember that the information given is from people who came
        to find help themselves. The information is NOT provided by peoplejohn he
        simply copies what others have said....some of the information for the wrong
        reasons provides a solution Other information their consists of opinions and no
        fact at all, to those who have a little more than a passing interest in the
        subject the advice offered is enough to make you cringe. The final category of
        information is just downright dangerous, and for the example given earlier was
        totally wrong and had the potential to cause that user the complete loss of his
        system working again until a professional charged him for the service of
        restoring the system.

        With respect to posting material created by others...this is allowed in the USA
        (they were presured into accepting a uniform approach some years
        back)...however....it is ONLY alowed if it is NOT FOR PROFIT.....Now as all of
        paojohns information seems to have been aquired from people like me and the
        many other good posters in here, and, as he is using that information to
        bolster his position and as a result promote his commercial enterpise...making
        money out of YOU it would seem that he is in breech of the unifying copyright
        laws now in force in his country as well as most other countries.

        Finally, as this mvp popejohn has a financial interest rather than an interest
        in helping others to learn how to use their computer, my original reasons have
        transformed into giving him no help what so ever in increasing the size of his
        bank balance...but I can suggest a range of books that would help him out with
        things like using Outlook Express (yes seriously), using the Internet (No, I am
        not joking) and anything else remotely connected with a computer....they are
        called The Idiots Guide to.....By the way, this man claims to be a database
        expert, I seriously doubt that

        I don't know if its true....I am told that he now intends to charge for his
        newsletters. Microsoft...its time this man was GONE His continual attempts to
        direct people to HIS website where they receive inducements to BUY HIS BOOKS
        must come to an end

        In the meantime, every time he tells a lie (claims that he posts to 52
        newsgroups) I will post a correction, every time he basically laughs at a user
        who ends up in a mess because of advice taken from his website I will expose it
        for what it is...a lack of responsibility and knowledge
        
        Why am I posting this message??? read his message copied above and ask
        yourself, do you think he gave a proper account??
