Papa John:
Thanks for your contribution to this group. I am getting almost the
same error message ("An Interface has too many methods to fire events
from") from an analog camcorder (SharpE650U) being fed through a
Belkin Videobus II into the USB port in my Dell 3.0 GHz (XP SP-2)
computer. I am trying to capture to a 7200RPM drive with no
applications on it.
I was thinking that I may have too many USB devices, and that the
"methods" written into their drivers might be competing for the bus
resources??? (I'm obviously not a programmer.)
>From the hardware side, the only things I can think of are that 1) the
Videobus II might be too slow - it may be a USB-1 device, and 2) the
new, dedicated hard drive is on the same IDE cable as the boot drive.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your help.
