Since installing SP2 I cannot capture from video

when trying to 'capture from video' (Sony digital webcam)
'Class not registered' message occurrs when attempting 'capture part of tape
manually'
'An unknown error has occurred' message appears when attempting 'capture
entire tape automatically'.

I Cannot obtain a bucket number as prompt for sending data to MS does not
appear.

The problem disappears if I return to pre SP2 installation.

Has anyone got any ideas.
