I dont understand which "patch" you tried to install ???? I referred to a
Knowledge Base article whose reference number is KB316529 and url is:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;316529
There is nothing to download but only instructions to follow to fix your
registry setting.
It seems you are not very computer savvy; so I wont recommend you going
anywhere near the registry in case you mess up. Ask help of a computer
techie friend of yours and show him the above linked article.
