It's all about how many pixels the source files have... smaller pictures
such as 40x30 pixels, when resampled to video sizes of 320x240 or higher
will have lots of pixilization or graininess.
Large pictures with dimensions such as 4000x3000 pixels, when resampled down
to video image sizes such as 320x240 or 640x480 will also look poorer than
the originals..... especially in the MM2 preview mode. They'll look much
better when in the final saved movie. The nature of movies versus slideshows
is often such that movie quality is less.
If you need higher resolution videos from high quality stills, see the
Saving Movies > Custom WMV Profiles page of my website.

Gif/Jpg/Bmps/Tif all the same poor quality. The stills are mixed in with AVIs and my intent is to combine them into a single AVI. > > > > I've read on PapaJohn's MM2 page that stills may have difficulty importing clearly, they certainly are grainy on my end. A post on the site recommended ImageResizer @ http://tinyurl.com/2yt2 but I'm on a slow dial-up and having difficulty researching - help! > > > >
