On the three pc's I've upgraded from MM1 to MM2, I have always just been
left with one Movie Maker version and that's been MM2. Normally you'd have
to save the old version of MM1 first to be able to retain it, see
www.papajohn.org
Are you saying in the about movie maker box it says both version 1 and
version 2???? It does give you the windows xp version first, then MM below
that.

> So Graham, if MM2 takes the place of MM1, we should not worry that it's
still listed as just Windows Movie Maker on our program list? I did go to
the help menu and see the Microsoft version 1.0 but in addition it listed
Windows Movie Maker 2.0. I'm supposing I'm now running MM2 but see no
differences.
