Mark,
I also have a TRV-460 and I have no problems with MM2 on
import through Firewire. I have not tried sending back to
camcorder so I can't help you there. Sorry. But I have
made several DVDs and the sound is fine. As for playback
with Media Player, make sure you've updated to version 9.
Ver 8 comes preloaded with XP and apparently doesn't have
the codecs for viewing properly. There are others here who
have more info on codecs.
