Hi John,

Just had a look at your site (nice!)

Downloaded win DV and used it to capture but I still have the same problem.

I Have symantec's defragger and used it , now this had some succsess but it still seems to be missing frames but it was a marginal improvement.
One question, I save my captured avi files in a folder., it is this folder that i have placed at the end of my drive.
What I was lead to understand from your site is that I can specify certain file extentions (eg .AVI)
I was not able to do this in the "Type of file" box . I could not change this from "all files"

We seem to be getting to the root of the problem.
