Hello,

Why this newsgroup exists is not really relevant..see other post by me
where Microsoft themselves say it belongs to USENET. But whoever made this
newsgroup its irrelevant. What is relevant is the dangerous practise of
posting messages that can carry a virus or worm and remembering how little
the users in here know, the simple act of viewing that message can cause
damage to their machine....it is my aim to continue making that important
statement so that if that sad day ever comes around...we can point a finger
at the one man who claims to be a professional but never acts like one...you
will see in a minute he does not know how to use the most basic of tools
Outlook Express, by his own admissions.....plus other items....Do Read On.

Thank you for reinforcing the argument that papajohns actions make it
possible to transfer a virus...he has no idea how to use outlook of
course.....he told me that he could not reply to my email because it was
digitally signed...he did that in such a way and in public so as to make me
look silly...he was relying on his own authority which time after time falls
a long way below the level I would expect an MVP to have...when I told him
all he had to do was press a little button, in simply non abusive terms all
I got was nothing at all...but he then went on to claim he was safe because
he sits behind a router...then when his website went down and people
complained I tried to help out this PROFESSIONAL by giving him the results
of a TRACERT.

This tracer clearly showed where the problem was...BUT, this
PROFESSIONAL instead again tried to make me look stupid by telling everyone
that the result he got was a load of zero's and that TRACER were clearly of
no use in today's world...so I politely told him his TRACERT had simply
bounced off his own router and that the TRACERT is the first port of call
and is a de-facto standard within the industry....what did I get in
return....a message telling me that there cannot be two people running this
newsgroup and a public message in here where he claimed that he was very
experienced and posted to no less than 52 distinct newsgroups, and that NO
PERSON runs this news group. I checked via multiple servers going back three
years (My software will scan all of them and make just one interest group)
52 Newsgroup Ha! 6 or 7 maybe...I have them all archived including those
containing his grandiose statements. I even checked all of those web site
forums he claims to post too.....Hmmmmm

I do not know why you think I would take exception to anything you said
here...but I do thank you for giving me the ability to demonstrate to as
many people as possible that he is a danger to everyone, he talks in
generalities that he can not back up with fact ( an even uses comments like,
"I like things that fix themselves" , yes really) He uses other peoples
knowledge and passes it off as his own (All you have to do is remove all
comments where he has included the posters name and then take substantial
chunks of what is left and search all the messages in this newsgroup...you
will find the original poster...I feature a number of times when you do
that)

I see no reason for you to hide behind an anonymous name...as far as I
can tell you have not tried to twist anything to suit your objective, and as
luck would have it your statements support exactly what I am trying to get
others to realise...of course some of those others have their own agenda,
don't they?

message, plain HTML. This makes it easy for anyone who feels they are at
risk by reading a HTML message to read the text/plain portion instead
(Outlook Express can easily be configured to do so). However, you're
probably better off encouraging everybody to download the latest patches
from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com rather than periodically ranting
about HTML messages.
