You said that the DVD doesn't play on your home DVD player.
Does it play on your PC okay? If so, then it's possible
that your home DVD player simply does not support the type
of DVD media you are using.

Sonic's MyDVD for this process. When I went to go play the movie in my
home DVD player, the audio comes through beautifully, but the video does
not advance through the different slides - you just hear the music
playing in the background. I am making this movie of jpegs and titles
with .wav files for the music. The movie flashes to it's first title
page, but nothing happens after that aside from the music playing in the
background.
