Is your camera definitely "DV-in" capable? All can do "DV-
out" but some models are not enabled for "in". Especially
if purchased in Europe where there is a (very odd) tax
implication for those that are DV-in enabled.
And even if the camera does support it, you may need to
switch to that mode to accept incoming.
I would check your camera manual carefully on this.
If the ability is there but disabled because of the
European restriction, you may well be able to have
that "fixed". All depends on the camera model...
Hope this helps

>Im using a Sony DCR-Trv720 Hi8 camcorder with dv
interface. My computwer was able to capture the video from
the camcorder but it cant transfer back to the dv. When i
pick the option transfer to dv, the next screen wont
appear for me to continue. If i unplug the firewire it
will change screens and say there is no firewire, but when
it is installed nothing happens. Any Ideas?
