Yes, Windows Live Messenger is the same network and you will have the same contacts and same
sign-in information. Just sign in.
Live Messenger includes a new protocol which should help with some disconnection problems
that you're experiencing.

i have windows messenger but i have downloaded messenger live, i seem to
loose connections at least every five minutes. do i have to delete messenger
and then go on to messenger live with a new ID or can i use my old ID.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP AS THIS IS DRIVING ME GRAZY.
