I have Windows Live Messenger 8.5 on Windows XP SR2. It initially worked just fine to make a video call with my son, but now it freezes up. Here's what happens:

I am baffled because I can't think of any changes I made to my computer that would account for why the program no longer works. This is what I have tried so far:

A. I ran that "repair" option under Adding and Deleting programs.

B. I've completely uninstalled WLM and then reinstalled it. Made no difference.

C. Removed and reinstalled software for the Logitech camera (which, as I mentioned before, not only is working, but I actually used once to make a video call with success.)

Any suggestions?
