See subj. I see an message in the Log: "msnmsgr.exe; 8.5.1302.1018; 4717a53b; msncore.dll; 8.5.1302.1018; 4717a2fe; 0; 0001cf612". I don't know if thats the error message. In the beginning after i installed it i had no problems, albeit a bit slow. I have some security programs installed: AVG Prof Trial, Spyware Terminator, SUPERAntispyware 4, Spywareblaster 4. Maybe the problem arose after SUPERAntispyware updated itself to ver. 4. The others have nothing to do with it as far as i know..

I have reverted to Windows Messenger 5.1 which works flawlessly. Another thing i noticed, was that there was a network error when trying to uninstall it via Add/Remove Programs. So i had to uninstall the program manually and then run an registry fixer program to fix the traces after this.
