Greetings,
It's another one of those personal choice things based on functionality vs lightweight use,
UI considerations, and so on. Obviously the feature set is quite similar, however I believe
the primary technical benefit is the inclusion of the Delta Sync protocol which is far faster
and efficient at checking and downloading mail.
Note that the Delta Sync support is also available in the Outlook Connector too, just not the
basic HTTP Mail in Outlook which is what I assume you're referring to.
