Ability to make RA connection is disabled

I became unable to have RA(Remote Assistance) connection from WLM when I changed ID for the WLM.

Before the change, either the WLM(Windows Live Messenger) or the WM(Windows Messenger) could be logged on since same ID was used for both. Since changing the ID for WLM, both became able to be automatically logged on.

I signed off from WM then I could make RA connection from WLM.
Is this behavior of WM normal?
