I am using windows messenger 4.7. I need this version so I can use the

It's possible. However, what version of Messenger are you using exactly?
To find out, open up the main Messenger window before you sign in, press
the Alt key on the keyboard (depending on what options and what version
you have, this should bring up the menu), then choose the Help menu and
finally the About option.

When I login using my account info....but when I use someone else info,
they logon fine and on the same computer. I suspect that my windows
messenger profile is corrupted. Any suggestions?
