New contacts at Windows Live Messenger shown only as offline

sind a view weeks I can see new contacts at Windows Live Messenger 8.1 only
as offline
Also I can send them only email, but not a message
I have an old Messenger account with exactly same setting, and it workd well
What can be the problem?
Using Windows Live Messenger Vers 8.1, Build 8.1.0178.00 / German lang
