Re: Is windows Messanger compatible with other programs

Windows Messenger was (is) the application including with Windows XP
installs that works on the MSN (now Windows Live) instant messaging
network.

iChat is a wonderful video chat application made by Apple that will
video/audio chat (quite well, I must say. I don't know what the
previous poster has dealt with in the past.) with other users of
iChat, users of AIM, or other iChat users that are on the Google Talk
or other Jabber network or your local network.

You'll be much happier down the line if you go with the Mac. Your
computer will still be working four years down the road and you'll be
able to do whatever you want with it, free from viruses and spyware.
Take advantage of the free hour session that the Apple Store offers.
It'll be worth it.
